Joanne Wilde's photography journey began with a spark of excitement in her childhood. She yearned to learn more about this art form, but her high school cut photography from the curriculum just before she had a chance to take it.
After a few years, Joanne picked up a film camera and began using it to capture the beauty of her beloved dog, Misti. With each snap, her love for photography grew stronger.
Years passed, and Joanne acquired her first DSLR camera. It wasn't easy to use initially, but she quickly mastered it and began photographing everything in sight.
When her first daughter was born, Joanne knew she wanted to document her precious journey through childhood. She found a local photography company to take some photos, but she deeply longed to create these memories herself.
When Joanne's second daughter was born, she decided to take matters into her own hands. She set up a studio in her home and began teaching herself everything she could about photography.
For over fourteen years, she dedicated herself to capturing the beauty and spirit of children in her images.
Recently, Joanne converted her large garage into a spacious photography studio. This new space allows her to create even more stunning and meaningful portraits for her clients.
